Our chosen charity for this year - 2025
Riziki Children's Organisation
Nakuru, Kenya
As part of our activities in the community, and supporting charities, we are fundraising for RIZIKI CHILDREN'S ORGANISATION, in Nakuru, Kenya, again this year, which is one of the children's organisations the UK charity Aenon Trust supports in Africa.
Riziki Children’s Organisation based in Nakuru, Kenya, provides young children, often orphans, from dire poverty and then helps them through their schooling right through to higher education including universities.
So, on our part, all money raised from the sale of tickets to the event, the revenue raised on the day and any other fundraising activity happening, running up to the day of the concert, will all be given to the charity in its entirety without any cost of concert deductions.
We are proud to note that we raised over £5,000 last year [2024] from our fundraising efforts for this charity.
How can you, our Gaggia subscribers support this event?
One thing that COVID taught us as a business was the power of the video conferencing platform ‘Zoom’ allowing people to interact with each other, not only in this country but around the world. So we are going to stream the concert live on Zoom allowing both our Gaggia subscribers, and those who support Riziki from different parts of the UK to purchase a ‘Zoom’ ticket for the concert and they will then be sent the link to join in and watch the concert live online from anywhere in the country (or even the world).
We are also holding an online raffle open to our online subscribers and other people who visit our website, for the chance to win a ‘Limited Edition – Gold coloured – Classic coffee machine’. The raffle tickets cost £10 each.
If you are interested in taking part in either watching the concert or purchasing a raffle ticket please visit our website where you will find the links to the concert ticket and raffle competition page.
