We are the UK agents for Gaggia spa. We are aware of companies selling products from outside the United Kingdom [with UK company addresses]. We strongly recommend that you find out where your machine is being despatched from to avoid any problems you may have, when it comes to warranty repairs.
Beware of Grey Imports. We know in some cases, we cannot recognise where they are coming from, and we have checked with Gaggia Italy too. In such cases, we will not accept them for warranty repairs unless we are paid for our warranty service. You also have to send the machine at your cost to do the repair, where as, if you buy from us, we bear the warranty repair and carriage costs during the warranty period.
Why you should be careful
We have seen the adaptors supplied by some EU suppliers, when sending UK appliances to the UK, and they are usually unsafe and non compliant with UK requirements.
WE SHALL ONLY HONOUR THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY, IF THE MACHINE WAS PURCHASED FROM US DIRECTLY.

If the machine was not purchased from us, we shall refer you to the person who sold the machine to you, and they will have to contact us to arrange any warranty repairs.
All of GAGGIA products are designed and manufactured to the highest standards and deliver high-quality performance, ease of use and ease of installation. In case you encounter any difficulties while installing or using your product, we recommend that you first consult the operating instructions or the information in the support section of this website. In the unlikely event of failure during the warranty period Gaggia spa, hereinafter referred to as 'Gaggia', will arrange for your product to be serviced in the United Kingdom.
Your statutory rights are not affected by the terms of the Gaggia Warranty.
Warranty Terms : The warranty begins on the date of purchase and expires at the end of the period indicated below. In case the retailer is unknown or the product was purchased from an unregistered seller e.g. via on-line auction channels, the warranty period is considered to have started three months after the date of manufacturing indicated on the product or as derived from the serial number of the product.

As agents and distributors, we are committed to providing high level of service to Gaggia users. We can provide Extended Warranty on Home Machines. -

- Do not contain a fuse - All UK plugs must contain a fuse to protect the power cable
- Incorrect size - do not have the correct amount of casing around the live and neutral pins - increasing the risk of electric shock, when plugging in / removing
- Designed for short term use in low power appliances - risk of fire from use in appliances containing heating elements due to the larger current.
- Often made from flammable plastic - increasing the fire risks
- Other suppliers are not official distributors for Gaggia, and so will buy from unofficial distributors / intermediaries - risk of receiving counterfeit goods?
- Products are designed for other markets which may have different safety requirements, that do not provide the same level of protection.

If any defects, due to faulty materials and/or workmanship, occurs within the warranty period, Gaggia will make arrangements for free of charge service. Where a repair is not possible or is deemed uneconomical Gaggia may agree to replace the product. Replacement will be offered at Gaggia's discretion and the warranty will continue from the date of original purchase.
The Gaggia warranty applies, provided the product has been handled properly for its intended use and in accordance with the operating instructions.
What is Excluded?The warranty does not cover for the losses consequent in nature, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of business. The Gaggia Warranty does not apply if:

- The model- and/or serial number on the product has been altered, removed or made illegible.

- The defect is caused by abuse or misuse of the product or by environmental conditions that are not in conformance with the recommended operations of the product.
- The defect is caused by connection to peripherals, additional equipment or accessories other than those recommended by Gaggia.
- The unit has been damaged - including but not limited to damage by pets, lightning, abnormal voltage, water or fire, natural disaster or transport accident.
- The product is defective due to wear of parts, which can be considered as consumable parts by their nature
- The product does not function properly, because it was not originally designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized for the country where you use the product, which might occur in instances where the product has been purchased in another country,
- If the product has been used, other than for its intended use.
