About Classic Boilers
1977 - 2014
Since the first Gaggia Baby was introduced in 1977, Gaggia has used polished aluminium boilers as their boiler of choice on all their top end home machines. They have stood the test of time. In 2015, a stainless steel boiler model was briefly introduced but was not popular amongst hard core Gaggia users and therefore the polished aluminium boiler was re-introduced in 2019.
2023
Gaggia introduced the Non-Stick coated aluminium boilers in 2023. The food grade non-stick coating is desired by some of our customers who prefer them to polished aluminium boilers. We are continuing to offer these on our website.
2024
Gaggia re-introduced the polished aluminium boilers, in April 2024, to cater to a popular demand and these are also offered on our website currently as 2024 models with the description 'Aluminium Boiler'. We shall continue to offer these on our website alongside the E24 models which have Brass boilers, which should be in stock by the end of October 2024.
Note : Boilers are inter-changeable on all models other than the 2015 model.
